Sampled one of the processes and it didn't seem to have any files installed in a different location. In general it is better to use (1) the app installer, if exists or (2) an app remover, such as AppCleaner. I downloaded Logitech's new release for Catalina and installed last evening. The software launches but then doesn't recognize that my Harmony One Ultimate One is connected. The app just hangs connecting to Logitech's servers. I know the remote is connected because my Mac system info shows the device in the list of USB devices.
If you’re planning to upgrade to macOS 11.0, there will be a delay in having the legacy software supported on macOS 11.0 Big Sur. We recommend holding off on upgrading to macOS 11.0 Big Sur if you need to access your remote’s account.
